If I Only Could - Poem by Dorian Petersen Potter

If I could only take a moment
And make it yes, last.
I would catch them all day and night,
And make them for you right

If I could only take a moment,
For dreams to make them true,
I would gift them all in a jif to you,
All wrapped up in a golden tray!

If I could only take a moment,
Of my life and make it last,
I would forever, my Love, keep your heart;
But please, don't ever ask me why...

If I could only take a moment
I would make everything right for you
To set your heart happy and free
And bring in your life all the Light!
