If I Pray Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

If I Pray

If I pray

Not much of believer
-if I was to pray
-would do with desire
-to see the "End near."

Living life, as observed
-is nothing but a shame…

Look at the percentage
-of masters and slaves;
-very rich and wealthy,
-as well as rape-victims,
-escappees, immigrants
-because of the arms sales
-that turns rich to richer,
-infants to child-soldiers
-and the farms to deserts.

If ever I pray…
-will pray for fast end!

Feel the shame because I
-am member, observer
-of mankind, human
-and still, am silent!

If ever I pray…
-will pray for fast end!

Must either act, murder
-the crimes, any kind…
-meaning fight abusers
-the so said: "one percent, "
-or help in making way
-to give life, with justice.

If not, I pray to
-finish these few days
-remaining of my life
-as silent observer
-a useless, a worthless.
