If I Won The Lottery Poem by Carla J Nelson

If I Won The Lottery

If I won the lottery,
I'll tell you what I'd do.
I'd hire myself a gardener,
Maybe even two.

My lawns would be
So neat and trim
They would make a caddy swoon.
And I'd have tomatoes on the vine,
Ripening in June.

There would be no plants out of place.
And so there would be no weeds.
And I'd have harvests
All I'd want and more;
For all my varied needs.

My borders would be neat and trim,
My flower beds in constant bloom,
The herbs so lush- and every kind,
Exuding wafts of sweet perfume.

Yep! If a welcome windfall,
Ever came my way, it's true.
I'd hire myself a gardener,
Maybe even two.
