If It's Hatin That You'Re On Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

If It's Hatin That You'Re On

I want to let you know
when you have an ego
no word formed against you
can ever fade you

it's obvious you don't like me
which is why you try and tear me down
still standing strong and un phased
everything you're doing is pathetic
so I look and just laugh you're not worth the energy or time
whatever you have to say is really not relevant

it's interesting hearing another's opinions of you
they wish to see you fall
What they don't know is you're spirits indestructible
you welcome
with open arms being attacked and judged
that comes with the turf when your skins this thick
i'm not like any of the others is what you don't know
it'll take more than that to get to me

if it's hatin that you're on
it doesn't affect my world
if it's hatin that you're on
it's not apart of my world
whatever you need you won't find it here
sorry
everything that you are is making you look
ugly
