If Kind Words Are To Be Said Poem by Raymond Farrell

If Kind Words Are To Be Said

If kind words are to be said
Flowers are to be sent
And eulogies are to be delivered
Do this if you wish
But do it while I'm alive
Don't come to my wake
And take the time to say
All those things in an effort
To balm your conscience
Because you neglected to take time
To visit me while I was alive
Please- do not be a hypocrite
On my account.

An excellent way of thinking. You have been very productive, poetically as late. :)
