If Life Was So Good Poem by rachel carbis

If Life Was So Good

If this life as we know it
was as good as you said,
then why do we suffer the way
that we do

if there was so much feeling
than how come we feel
so empty inside and
so down and deppressed

what gives you the right to judge us
for being the way we are
we may be slightly different
but we still have a heart

we breathe like you and live like you
we do most the things that you can do
why should we change our ways just for you
please remember we are human too!

yes, rachel, you're certainly right; we each have a right to be here. let conscience reign. but let conscience be well formed.

To accept different ways of being different demands a different thought process instead of judging. Some people manage to rise above it and some don't. Thanks for writing your thoughts.
