If Man Can Seek The Kingdom Of God Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

If Man Can Seek The Kingdom Of God

Haven't you heard?
If man can seek the Kingdom of God above,
And live righteously with faith and love,
He shall find treasures, hidden deep within.

If man can seek the Kingdom of God,
His life shall be filled with joy and peace, akin.
For the kingdom of the Lord is a place divine,
Where all sorrows and worries shall be left behind.

If man can seek the Kingdom of God,
He'll find place of grace, mercy and light,
Where the spirit is free, and the heart takes flight.
In this world, where the desires consume,
And the pursuit of wealth leaves hearts in gloom.

If man can seek the Kingdom of God,
Seeking kingdom, above all else,
Shall bring contentment, and a sense of self.
For riches and fame shall fade away,
But the love of God shall forever stay.

If man can seek the Kingdom of God above all things,
And bask in its glory, forever in sight,
Live righteously, in the eyes of the Lord,
And He shall provide, all that is needed and more.

If man can seek the Kingdom of God,
For He is the ultimate provider, our Lord and King,
And in His kingdom, we shall find everything,
Wealth, Fame and clothes with a robe of glory.

So let us strive, to seek the Kingdom of God,
And live righteously, as His children, we ought,
For in His love, we shall find eternal bliss,
And our souls shall be filled, with unending peace.
