If Morning Poem by Dorsey Baker

If Morning

The death of darkness
Comes with
The birth of light
Ignorance can become a flood
But it can never drown the truth

If caught chasing
Chaos
And confusion
You will be found guilty
And convicted

When in nakedness
All secrets are gone
If morning itself
Suddenly does come
