If My Writing Were To Be Recognized After My Death Poem by Shalom Freedman

If My Writing Were To Be Recognized After My Death

Rating: 5.0

If my writing
Were to be recognized
After my death
Which I doubt
I doubt it would make me happy-

But it might give something
To my family
And to its readers

In this sense
There is reason
Even in old age
To not give up

And try until the end
To write the real work
I most likely
Never could
And never will.

Expressing yourself in poetry is what will be remembered. This site allows all poems to be downloaded. Go to manage poems. Show your family. Have the best read at your funeral. I will do the same.

An inspirational poetic expression with a message, never give-up and continue the efforts without stopping. A stoic like approach. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
