If Only We Knew Poem by Philo Yan

If Only We Knew

what we know now.
If only our views,
are not our cow.

If only we brake,
avoid the stake.
If only we shake,
and catch a break.

If only we get what we want
then it would not surely haunt.
If only.........

We have to try,
ask not 'why? ',
so dare to try,
sometimes we cry,
seek the truth and not the lie,
and we can rest, a peaceful die.

Come what may,
agree to say,
with the answers,
so we may.
extend our minds
beyond the day.
allow our hearts to show
or let it lay.
