If Petals Fall From Roses

Rating: 5.0

If petals fall from roses
before their life is through
and shadows hide the sunlight's glow
thats when I think of you.

When twilight comes too quickly
before the night is due
should Oak trees shed their leaves too soon
that's when I think of you..

And if the soft moon rises
when still the sky is blue
and birds begin to early nest
that's when I think of you.

You left too soon, too soon my love
before your life was through
if shadows hide the sunlight's glow
that's when I think of you
