If Something Lasts Forever....

Iron rusts
the silver gets dull
porcelains break
flowers wilt
trees fall down
fruits rot
people die.
if something lasts forever
, ah, don't tell me about love
or about true love,
if something lasts forever, it is
nothing
i am as certain as death and taxes.
