If The Wealth... Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

If The Wealth...

Rating: 2.8

If the wealth is ill gotten
Then good use later on can be forgotten
It will take our hear apparent to down fall
Create distrust, fight and impregnable wall

This is how the wealth takes its toll
Hard earned money may easily roll
Change hands for charity, donation and good use
Others may invite jealousy, deception and misuse

Wealth is main root for all evils
Not all may have security or good will
The family members may want your early departure
As they may be finding a chance for good future

Good sense may only prevail
When you are in control and not fail
Keep them to united fold and trust
Else they may fall apart and mistrust

What can be done with so much wealth?
If that deteriorate your complete health
If that can’t guarantee you peace and happiness
Why on earth it can be longed for and stressed?

I tried to find an easy answer
But answered by only some or fewer of them
It placed me at great worry
I felt really in pain and sorry

What it did me in whole life?
When it was to prove as cutting knife
The family was quarreling among for spoils
I was helpless and there was no use to boil

I wish it not to happen to anybody
The wealth must be used for help to somebody
Its constrained use may warrant good result
But at least it save you from embarrassment and insult
