If The World Could End With Laughter Poem by Austin Wheeler

If The World Could End With Laughter

If the World could end with laughter,
It could be a giggle or roar it doesnt matter,
Cause we leave this place hand in hand,
And after here is the hereafter.

If the earth died as an average joke,
Cause the magnets melted and the final dam broke,
All we need to rise above this vast sea is a boat,
And if we dont have one and we should drown,
Even after death we still will float.

If the race should vanish in an act of magic,
But without a ressurection like the rabbit in the hat trick,
The end has no applause only static
The audience kept watching to catch the secret
And now its over and they dont have it.
When time is too much, where does the magician stash it?

If life winds down to the rhythm of your favorite song,
You'd be lying if you said you wouldnt sing along.
But a three minute melody doesnt last too long,
And if no one shares your taste,
Get ready for the clash of the gong.

I'd like to think the world could end with cheer,
Because its the end of struggle and the end of fear.
But something tells me
As the climax draws near,
The world shall end with a lone tear.

Profound and deeply moving, though the meanings were hidden in hypothesis. You have a great talent and a gift at writing - sharpen it and it will reward you.10+++++
