If You Don't Have A Dream Poem by Hebert Logerie

If You Don't Have A Dream

If you don't have a dream
You might as well be dead
And make your sepulchral bed
You have no hope, no esteem.

If you cannot dream
That means you cannot fall
In deep sleep. You're a doll
Who cannot taste ice-cream.

If you won't dream
You're not actually here
You are somewhere else, dear
Where you're zapped by the beam.

If you cannot dream
There's no hope for you
You're not among the few
Who will read my poem.
