If you don't like my driving
Then don't ask me for a ride,
If don't want my opinion
Then don't ever ask me to take someones side.
If you don't like my clothes
Remember, I bought them just for me,
If you don't like my glasses
I bought them only to help me see.
If you don't like my house
Well, why not go home to yours,
I hope you enjoy your home as much as I do mine
Because, I'm now locking all my doors.
If you don't like my music
I will tell you what, you don't have to listen to it,
I enjoy the music that I listen to
It helps me to smile and laugh it's a benefit.
If you don't like my pets
Then you don't have to come to my house,
They have never used or deserted me
Nothing like a partner does, or a spouse.
If you don't like any of my friends
I'm so sorry for your loss,
They have been with me through the good times and the bad
To the garbage them I will not ever toss.
If you don't like any of my rules or laws
Well then none of them do you have to accept or obey,
I like the way that I am and how I live my life
And remember this, you don't have to be part of my day.
