If You Feel That Some People Poem by Francis Duggan

If You Feel That Some People

If you feel that some people are not equal to you
Then to your higher self you are not being true
Of how egotistical you are this only goes to show
You are one bereft of the bright inner glow
The fact of the matter and fact does not lie
Is that you like all others one day too must die
People like you who live with an ego out of control
Are people who live with darkness of the soul
It is people like you humanity has to thank
For human inequality class distinction and rank
And since of these you are one who does plant the seed
Humanity of your type of more not in need
To the downside of humanity your type only gives rise
Your sort only grow older and never grow wise.
