gleaming in the embers of fire, like so
jewels of your eyes from which sparkles like water flow
sometimes i wish it would just snow
just cuz that's how much i owe
that's how much i owe to you
just cuz i surrender to your love
but your hands to me are still covered with gloves

now that time has offered so much and you and me
and what i think is just...
cuz its you and me
and i lie to people but i don't know why
maybe to protect you, from harm's way
but others say don't do that
but i said i don't care, cuz i care for you

these 3 words that show my picture
revealing the curtains and presenting you from the stage
from deep within the chamber of heart

what i used to do
to jump from particles of light
in these swirling circles of shadows
to just run away from this life
what i used to feel
what i used to see from the light in me was tuned down to a faint hum
to only see the colors of black and white
no passionate feelings about the feeling nature

until you came along
the appealing to everything, everyone became just radiant
but mostly you

but....
i want to heal
i want to feel
like to close to something real
i don't know what to do until you came along
i just want to feel once again
to rip off the fake mask off of me
i want to find the someone that i want all along
someone who i would love for a lifetime

cuz...
if you like these words
then hold them tight
cuz i cry out your name everywhere i go
my dreams, thoughts, writing, drawings
even nature appeals to the better times

when you're cold
i wish i could give you my warmth
since i have no jacket to give to you
i would rather die than to see you suffer

then let them rain
