If you saw me cry,
would you think me a lesser man?
If you saw me cry,
would you take me by the hand?
If you saw me cry,
would you think that I am weak?
If you saw me cry,
would you turn the other cheek?

I ask you this today,
'cause you already know me well,
yet you have never seen me,
when my eyes begin to swell,
with these bitter tears,
I want to cry for you,
the reason I hold back is,
I don't know what you'd do.

So I ask you just one question,
there's only one thing I should know,
will you still hold me,
when the tears start to flow.
