If the American Dream
like a bubble burst,
When you awake...
If the German dream
was never really dreamed,
if you look in German history getting pale...
If the International Dream
limitless before your eyes floats,
then let him become a reality,
then give him openness, independence
and above all creativity, in fact - to dream that,
what he wants, without pressing him in a secular form...
If this dream then dreams himself and what he wants
then delete the light of your findings -
and hear him on waking attentively,
what His dreams tell,
like you have listen when you were still young
and were listening to foreign tales eavesdropping,
whose meaning you sometimes got much later
and becomes part of your own dreams,
that's why:
Give the dream that tells of your world himself,
so that your reality, becomes my dream
if your dream is my dream.
