Ignoring The Normal Poem by Jennifer Rose

Ignoring The Normal

Even in a room packed with people
I still feel out of place
The tears threaten to spill forward
But I fight them to be unnoticed
My words are forbidden by the ears
Things of me are thrown about
Forced to stay invisible
Why am I ignored and put down?
Made fun of at every turn
Words thrown back
Looks broke in half
Forgotten when silent
Don't know when to ignore or listen
The tears burn more
The ears block more
Noises and actions blurring
Totally Forgotten and Slashed
It would have been better to be exiled
Exiled from the influenced personalities
