I'll Never Leave Your Hand Poem by Tina Rizk

I'll Never Leave Your Hand

My love,

I'm not rich enough to buy you an island
But I promise never to leave your hand

I can't reach the sky to get you a twinkling star
But I promise to give you my 5-star heart

I'm not a keen painter to make you a portrait
But I promise to paint you with exquisite words

I can't make your sculpture on Mount Rushmore
But I promise to treasure you in my heart and soul

I can't write your name everywhere in the world
But it's already written all over my heart's walls

I'm not an opera singer to sing you a love song
But my soul will always whisper to you her longing

These lines are not enough for your great love
But I'll never stop writing about you, my love
