I'll Win Again Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

A shattered heart is all i feel,
how can this life seem so unreal.
An emptiness that draws me in,
Held on so far through thick and thin.

But i am strong i tell myself,
Just need to cast away this stealth.
To find the person in my soul,
That once was me till life took toll.

I shall seek the strength within,
I'll live again, I'll rise to win.
For then I'll be that soul once more,
Regain my strength just like before.
