Illicit liquor consumption

Each time people consume illicit liquor and die
we all know the hazard but don't try
to prevent the use of spurious liquor
many precious lives were lost and sank

even though it is state subject
the measures fall short of stern acts
people operate the trade illegally
the result is the scores of death prematurely

only poor and laborers suffer
they get the liquor at the cheap rates
they go for a drink to relieve the tiredness
but strategically face the deaths

the liquor had been a passion for them
people consume to wear out the fear
this has been termed as social one
as it has taken a heavy toll

Let the government take drastic steps,
provide the liquor at cheap rates
keep strict medical control
it will help poor at great length
