I'm Bored To Death With The U.K! Poem by DM W

I'm not interested in rigid, anachronistic institutions,
Only in the complete free play of original ideas.
I'm not swayed by corrupt Establishment figures,
Only by those who seek to subvert archaic systems.
I'm not concerned with spurious honours or titles.
I'm only concerned with being myself...that's all.
I'm not hypnotised by the BBC's state propaganda,
I'm much more attracted to alternative media.
I'm not impressed by the blare of blind patriotism.
Indeed, I'd like to erase all mind-numbing borders.
I'm not keen on being a mere subject of the Crown.
For I'd rather be a true citizen in a thriving republic.
