Im Just A Girl - Poem by Alexandra Puddle

I am just a girl
I don’t have to be perfect
I am working on being myself
And I’m not going to change for you

I am just a girl
Wanting to be loved
For who I am
Not who you want me to be

I am just a girl
I’m not that different to you
Treat me right
And treat my fair

I am just a girl
Not an alien
I’m not trying to ruin everything
I just want to be were I belong

I am just a girl
Standing in front of a guy
Asking him to love her

I am just a girl

yes, i can agree with you. we aren't alien creatures, we're not toys, we're not dolls, we're ourselves, and we'll never stop being ourselves! keep it up, thanks

fantastic poem. Really shows the true emotion. We dont want to be anyone but ourselves, so dont make us change who we are. ENCORE! (Report) Reply

Loved the simple sensuality of a girl, when you stand in front of a guy do not ask please, just do it! A 10. (Report) Reply
