Whenever I'm alone
It's never only me
It's never only one
For we are always three:
Who I was
Who I am
And Who I really want to be.
I could be a diver
Swimming undersea
I could be a rider,
Gallop wild and free
I could be a spaceman
Sailing past the stars
Breakfast on the moon
Pitch my tent on Mars
I could be a wizard
With magic all around
A friendly little lizard
Scuttling on the ground
I could be a bird
And sing a lovely song
Fly around the world
On wings so brave and strong
I could be a doctor
Making people well
I could be a chemist
And make a nasty smell
I could be a robber
Deprive you of your money
A black and yellow bee
Give you lots of honey
I could be a clown
Fill your life with fun
A furry purry pussycat
Basking in the sun
I could be a clock
And tick away the hour
A brightly coloured butterfly
Resting on a flower
I could be a flower
Dancing in the breeze
I could be the common cold
Make you wheeze and sneeze
In fact I could be anything
Anything I please.
