Imitator Or Poet? Poem by Lionara S.t.m.o.l

Imitator Or Poet?

With words on paper, paint boats
imitate images, provoke feelings
but boat you don't know how to use
you were probably hoping to be manufacturer.

A fraud, all ghosts in art
seeks praise, flattery and money
for virtues and values, with knowledge rarely speaks
revives fears, pleasures and sorrows of the artist

Few souls are invulnerable to bad reasons
affected from beautiful lyricism
to wave's dance the crazy pace
the others became immortal in the world of mortals

[Inspiration from Plato's 'Republic']
