Immolation Of Love
Love wedded them together
to live with honour.
When fate struck at
her man to drown and die,
leaving her two girl-children
to the care of the world,
Sangita set herself ablaze.
Had she had the hope of
thriving alone in this harsh world,
she wouldn’t have left behind
two young orphans to cry.
She made haste to come along
with her beloved man
and she made haste to go away
from her lovely children
