Immortal Ink Poem by Sven Rhoads

Immortal Ink

Deeper than the roots that reach into the earth
You are more than you could ever comprehend
Like a wave crashing over,10 fold became your worth
The affection rushing over is not one to pretend

Take the shadows out of me and place the image on my skin
May no one ever take this all away
Upon my heart you remain and you swim in my memories
The loving prints are a welcome stain

Forevermore you will be a part of me
Without you I cant imagine I'll live
For this love that I found so many years ago
Has only strengthened with the passing time
Immortal ink over my heart
Eternally will always hold your name
For this bond can never be broken to pieces
We are stronger than anything that's come before

With every storm that will come upon us
I will continue to hold you close
Forever you will remain here with me
With every trial we shall never fail

They cant jade our love
They cant obscure our bond
They cant break us apart
Even when all our dust is gone
They can try all they want
But this ink wont wash away
We will tighten the knot of love
Forever tangled when we fade to gray
