Immortality Poem by Carolyn Ford Witt

Immortality

IMMORTALITY

Did you listen to the wind last night,
God whistling His tune.
Whistling sweetest Lullabies
To the fullest October Moon.

I heard Him singing softly
Through the greenest of pine trees
As all these sounds lit sparingly
On my ears, through wafting breeze.

The rain soon fell so gently
Pit-pat on pavement bare
Whisperings of my Father
Giving fleeting Life it's share.

He talks to me so quietly
With every gentle breeze
With every raindropp that is shed
Through everyone of these.

So in the quiet of your life
Please listen carefully
And give your all to Our Father
and gain....IMMORTALITY!
