In 10,000 Shades Of Light Poem by Shaun Cronick

In 10,000 Shades Of Light

What do you see
Really see.
When you look at things.
People, nature, new places,
Even inanimate objects.
Or how bright or dim a day was.
Do you really take in what's around you.
Really look and remember.
Or merely look through things,
As if they were transparent.
As if poured from molten glass.
Never really seeing what's there.
Never really registering any details.
Not even remembering its colour.
Maybe your thoughts are simply else where.
Filled with life worries.
Sometimes in life to enjoy things,
We all need to look with better eyes..
