In 3 Seconds Poem by Randy McClave

In 3 Seconds

Rating: 5.0

I wanted a woman dressed in blue
And a woman who stood about 5 foot two,
Her hair would be blonde, and her eyes green
That woman someday would hopefully be my queen.
I have dated and been married twice before
Brunettes or redheads, I wanted no more,
I wanted no more hatefulness in my universe
So, now I was looking for a doctor, or a nurse.
A gardener I also hoped for her to be
Flowers are the souls that many don't see,
Like a flower I wanted to be nurtured and also praised
And by love and by care, I wanted to be raised.
Of course she must also enjoy to joke and laugh
That gesture alone shows a souls true path,
Most of all she must have virtue and a smile
And of course one day, she'll wanna walk down the isle.
At the gardening isle at the store I went to shop
Then abruptly my soul it told me to stop,
I looked across the room and there she was;
In 3 seconds, I fell in love.
