In a few little words
I have something I need to say
But for some odd reason
The words won't come out my way

In a few little words
I have something I need to tell you
So please don't feel sad
Nor should you feel a bit blue

In a few little words
How can I say 'I love you so'?
You need to know before something happens
And it comes my time to go

In a few little words
I need to express my love
I have it right here for you
Sent to me from up above

In a few little words
Sometimes they can mean so much
Coming from the right source
And followed by the right touch

In a few little words
Would you ride with me in a carriage?
Would you take my love forever dear?
Will you take my hand in marriage
