In A Glass (The Mannequin) Poem by Germina Melius

In A Glass (The Mannequin)

Fragile love weak like glass,
wander to break your feeble heart.
flashback, a mirror opens your eyes,
incomparable beauty soothing your soul,
speechless tongue, losing your mind,
this stranger has netted your love.

Falling into surreal love,
walking on slippery glass,
Have you lost your mind?
love, awakes a troubled heart,
remedy for the mortal soul,
hypnotised by beautiful eyes.

The men in pursuit with vulture eyes,
chase the woman in love,
desperate to bind that interned soul,
a puppet mourning in a glass,
trying to control a racing heart
of a wondering mind.

Ignore your visual mind,
hhe haunting memory of these magnetic eyes,
rehydrating your heart,
a peculiar love,
like tannic wine in a glass,
will drown your soul.

What is the soul
without the mind?
it is clear as glass;
blind eyes,
protected by lost love,
saving a desperate heart.

Unconditional, the heart,
attractive soul,
infinite love
Open mind,
hypnotic eyes,
breaking men like glass.

Destiny in the soul like the heart and mind,
love before our blurry eyes,
entwined like reflections in a glass.
