In A World Far Away Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

In A World Far Away

In a world far away
Far away from here
In a place brighter
Void of hunger and fear

No sense of longing
Only of love and belonging
Only knowing love is near
An none ever shed a tear

And here in this place
I kiss her lovely face
And she lets me inside
With arms open wide

Emotions shared
And nothing to hide
No vanity or pride
All egos have died

The only thing left is Love
And God is everywhere
Felt deep within the heart
One formed by two from the very start

No inclination to sin or malice so base
In it's absence is kindness and grace
Joy and happiness all over the place
Everybody is equal regardless of status or race
