In church the sun so brightly shown
Reminding me I am always here alone
No softness of a true caring hand to hold
As I approach yet try to resist qrowing old
Searching for true love unknown
In church my dreams and feelings roam
Wondering if I'll ever find a true home
Simple dreams of true sharing, not overblown
In church the sun so brightly shone
Inside my weary heart I drift off and roam
Feeling so unknown
Little particles of dust rise toward the sun I see
Wonder if there is one heart among them just for me
All my suffering, your love will wash clean and atone
In the church the sun so brightly shone
The knowing light revealed me as so alone
