In affirmation
Monday,11th March 2019

It doesn't matter
when I utter
in disbelief
it doesn't provide me relief

why did u stare at?
when I dared
for your hand
to bring an end

your eyes were piercing
and promising
for willingness to stay together
without mincing words with an offer

I was afraid of my look
with only head to shake
and nothing to present a rosy picture
I was not at all sure

You were bold enough
not to laugh at
but extend
the hand in affirmation
