In All Of Us Poem by Francis Duggan

In All Of Us

In all of us there is a craving to succeed
Yes in every one of us there is this need
That one day we will be wealthy and famous
And people of us will want to hear and read.

In all of us there's this need for recognition
Though that desire not all of us does show
'Tis human to wish to be loved by others
That even strangers you would want to know.

'Tis human to wish you'd be seen as special
And you'd be famous in the World out there
That your fame would be known in every Country
And you would not be a stranger anywhere.

In all of us there's a wish to be famous
Though in many that may be a latent desire
That people in all Countries would know of you
And you'd be one they would greatly admire.
