In An Empty Sky - Poem by john wake

In an empty sky
We could lie
And watch the sun pass by
In the still air
We could stare
And see birds dancing with flare

If we see this breeze seize
Then we did not freeze

And once ice melts
Then the sun, your heart, might be felt

So bear the clouds and cold
Wait till its past, don’t be so easy to fold.
