In And Out Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

In And Out

In and out

Deep in well
-a fallen looks around for a way
-to get out

His feet hurt, hands injured
-feels blood with his tongue
-in darkness, see, cannot!

Black-hole in his mind,
-dragon, spider and devil take shape, form
-thinks he is a zombie

Hears calls with his name
- "What happened? You need help? "
-voice makes him mesmerised
-wants to talk but does not
-just replies: "Yes, why not! "

In his mind, the bars of a birds' shop
-inside it finch, lovebirds, sparrows
-some fly and some hop;

At the top chat and talk take place
-each has way of his own
- "Let's bring a ladder…"
- "No! it won't work bring rope…"
- "Need pulley and a wheel…"

He hears parts of words
-sounds, whispers
-to him…noise…

Angry, desperate
-hits the wall with firm fist;
-says: "Bullshit! "

Between two a wide world
-not just the height and walls
-from Hell, to Heaven
-one hopeless, near death
-rest, on Earth and uselessness
