In Another Place And Time Poem by Rebecca Wiles

In Another Place And Time

Rating: 5.0

In another place and time,
we could have been lovers.
In another place and time,
we could have been friends.
But instead we cross paths,
every once in awhile,
in a place and time that never
seems to end.

In another place and time,
we might have laughed and danced.
In another place and time,
we might have had half a chance.
But we are like two dreamers,
who pass within the night,
in another place and time
who knows what might have been!

Good poem! I liked the title and it was well penned. Very thought provoking. There are a lot of 'what if's' that occupy my mind too. But I think many times unfortunately, what's done is done. All we can do is move on. -Michael
