In Between

Intending to make film
On, about Prairies
Feel am lost in dreams,
Picture the screen
And on it, horses, kids.

Which should be the hero?
Protagonist? Antagonist?

Wonder if should compare
Natives' past with mother's!

Had two when attacked thieves,
She, too young to notice:
"Wear my pants? Not wear it? "

"Kept my pants in my hand
And aired it like flag
As part of childish game! "
She, too, told stories…

Want to write script
About chief's stories
Culturally, orally
About horses, fighting
To enhance victory,
Meant to be training!

Then came the blue-eyed
Different thoughts in mind.

Called Natives': "Brutal! "

I am lost in between
Prairies, ‘Pales, ' ‘Natives,
And Mother's stories,
They are one and many!

How to write?
What is my duty?
Prefer the balance!
