In Defence Of Rats And Other Things

Rating: 5.0

It’s a rat race they say
I don’t think so
Though my knowledge of rats is quite fleeting
I don’t see them couped up
In cars and in trucks
or
Running late for a meeting

Although

My knowledge of rats is quite fleeting

It’s a dog’s life they say
I don’t think so
Though my knowledge of dogs has its
Limit
They don’t suffer stress
Care how they dress or
Tell you to hang on a minute!

Although

My knowledge of dogs has its limit

It’s a pig of a job
I don’t think so
Though my knowledge of pigs is quite
Mean
I know that there fat and
Other than that I know
That they’re not very clean

Although

My knowledge of pigs is quite mean

It’s tough sitting here in the traffic
I don’t think so
Though my knowledge of traffic
In Time
Will make me work out the best way
To get about
Without rats dogs or pigs and on Time

Although

My knowledge and traffic don’t rhyme!
