In desertion
Monday.1th April 2021

I tried to hold
the golden memory
that always made me feel sorry
and carried a whole life burden

why did it become a past?
and lasted life long,
was I wrong in reading her mind?
now I find ample time to assess

from the outset
he had set
an idea of early departure
making my future dark here

The day was passing
and the night was setting
bringing the treachery of a person
with a bundle of reasons

I was tolerating
and equating
it with casual recurrences
but it became daily instances

I thought he will still stay
and make my day a hay
desertion was out of the question
but he made mentions several times

I blame it on my calculation
for the deterioration
it was not a strong bond and relation
that had resulted in the desertion
