In Desperate Moments...

Rating: 5.0
In desperate moments, I glimpse the hand
Of Creation. That is when I understand
That the darkness balances the light.
Slow, soft burning fires still glow in the night.
In love, we can find our sweet asylum.
With faith, we can feel the warmth of the sun;
Pulsating like blood through life's cold blue veins.
The eternal seeps into our brief days.

A little faith can go a long way, especially in these troubling and most demanding modern times. A more than well written poem Dominic, to make any reader hopefully stop and think. Five stars and more than worthy of them. Take care my friend and simply enjoy life and the good things it has to offer one and all.
