In English, we will say, "we met at one time"
"Then you just walked away",
In poetry we will say, "once upon a time"
"Like a rainbow I will remember that day".

In English we will say, "You are beautiful"
"But, I was just an ordinary man".
In poetry we will say, "like a rose you are captivating and beautiful"
"That's how our adventure began".

In English we will say, "remember the night"
"When we both ran in the rain",
In poetry we will say, "I remember that stormy night"
"When the clouds themselves cried from my pain".

In English we will say, "you lied and cheated"
"And you did me so very wrong",
In poetry we will say, "on my belief you abused and cheated"
"For your love I did forever long".

In English we will say, "Goodbye"
"And now I will seek and find someone new"
In poetry we will say, "to the breeze I will say goodbye"
"If only my heart and soul really knew".

In English we will say, "I loved you"
"But, you lied and cheated and blamed me for our fall",
In poetry we will say, "I truly adored you"
"And Lord our God knows and saw it all".
