In Fair Exchange Poem by Roger Snow

In Fair Exchange

Believing me spaced out?
trip, I was looking within
not without

no notice as you pass by?
well, don't be offended child
there's a deeper meaning
behind the reason why

you're existence is noted
and you've been found
to be ok

I don't always show open
acknowledgement to all
that pass my way, , ,

Yes, I have eyes that see
yes, you're noticed
just not all that important to me

No one cares you say
maybe so,
or maybe
what you take seriously
isn't of import to the world
in the same way, ,

Wake now to find out
that you have eyes of your own
and not always, do you
seem in there, , like, ,
like no ones home

Little too intense you complain?
that's alright child, ,
I'm built with just that kind of brain,

Seeds of my thoughts
are Just baring much more fruit

those small thoughts
just never seem to have ever
taken Root

No, I'm not saying you're Dim
just that your thoughts, ,
are running rather thin, , ,

Well, trading thoughts
with you, ,
well, , ,
it's not been exactly
a fair exchange, ,

but have faith
maybe one day,
long after I've gone

you'll open your mind
and find where you went wrong, , ,

~~~~ make what you can, if not, try not to break what another person has made ~~~~~
