In Flight At Night Poem by Alan Bruce Thompson

In Flight At Night

Rating: 5.0

Standing up, sitting down,
Waiting for the sun to drown.

Restless passengers on their way,
Watching the night turn to day.

Dinner is over, duty-free gone by,
All are wishing for the orange dawning sky.

The flight is long, lost track of time,
I'm quite confused in this moonshine.

There's a ping and suddenly a light,
I wake up in the middle of the night.

I've fastened my belt, my seats upright,
We've safely landed, everything's alright.
