In Love With A Governor's Daughter Poem by ELVIS LIME

In Love With A Governor's Daughter

You sat directly opposite me in the train
Each time we gazed you blushed and smiled benevolently
My heart danced and your heart danced along too
For that dazzling dynamic impeccable image of beautiful you was created in my mind,
Making me feel sensations of love
I made a move and stretched my hand to greet, and in addition you gave me that glowing smile
Your gaze though intent and strong but also gentle and welcoming
I stole your heart, and like how flowers bloom after winter our love grew, and that's how I loved a Governor's daughter
With the help of my guitar all the romantic soapy love line I knew I sang, my glamouring and soulful voice made you to love me even more
I could take you with me, drink deep and lose ourselves in love as my lips cover you with kisses
'No wonder all men love you, ' I could whisper, and with a lot of passion you whispered too'like lilly among thorns I chose you'and
Off to my knees I went , holding a ring openly on my hand
'WILL YOU MARRY ME? '
